About

Members in the Advocacy committee of Bruin Shelter are involved in our research efforts. We are currently exploring the efficacy of the Bruin Shelter (student run) model for university students experiencing houselessness. Our paper is currently in progress, and contains the following: an in-depth literature review (analyzing prevalence of said issue + past studies), methods (how “exit interview” responses were collected and analyzed), results (what students found effective about our model), and discussion (future directions and conclusions).

We are currently working in collaboration with Dr. Cowgill in our research efforts.
