“A home for students, by students”

Bruin Shelter is a UCLA undergraduate volunteer organization that operates a shelter for students experiencing houselessness in the greater Los Angeles area. We believe deeply in the power of a diploma, re-examining assumptions about what houselessness means, and making a tangible difference in the community around us. Ultimately, Bruin Shelter is more than just a shelter - it is about providing a safe space for these individuals - a home and a family.
